A call for Jerusalem

Muhammaad Mahdy Akef, IkhwanWeb - Egypt

Allah said,” Glory be to Him Who made His servant to go on a night journey from the Sacred Mosque to the remote mosque of which We have blessed the precincts, so that We may show to him some of Our signs; surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing.” (Al-Israa:1)

The blessed land calls for Muslim everyday to take a stand and ask oneself a question, what have I done to save Jerusalem and Palestine? What have I done to save this blessed mosque that calls for every Muslim and cries for help?

If we follow back the history of this land we would realize that it is not the first time Jerusalem is occupied, the most famous incident was the crusades’ attacks that lasted for two hundred years until the Kurdish Muslim leader Saladin came and freed the mosque on the 27th of Rajab 582 A.H.

If all the super powers are using false claims wither, historical, religious or political claims to pursue their economic and strategic interests we don’t care because the conspiracy is now so clear and Arab and Muslim nations should wake up from their slumber and gain back our freedom and dignity.

Arab nations and Muslim Ummah’s unity is the key to stop the Zionist attacks and stop the attempts to Judize Jerusalem and the destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

6 Arab Prime ministers gathered few days ago in the Jordanian capital Amman to discuss King Abdullah the second’s visit to the United state to meet up with Obama administration.

What was the outcome of their meeting? They kept holding fast to the Arab peace initiative that was refused by the Zionist enemy.

Still until this day Arab leaders are holding on to an initiative that cannot be applied by no means and that is because they have no other option and they can’t stand up for the conspiracy waved around Palestine, Jerusalem and the resistance.

O Arabs...O Muslim,

Palestine is calling for you and Al-Aqsa mosque is crying for your help. People in Jerusalem are calling for you to support them, why don’t you make a fundraising institute to support them when their houses are abolished and help stop the attempts of displacing them.

Why don’t you boycott all business men who allay with our enemy for personal interests and gains over the public welfare and interest?

Where as you my fellow brothers, you have a very big responsibility in such serious circumstances.

1. You have to rise above all the difficulties and start changing yourself and then the community around you for Allah said in the Qur`an. “surely Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change their own condition.” (Ar-Ra’d: 11).

2. You have to get your power from the power of your faith and belief in Allah.

3. You have to follow Palestine’s news and issue from all sides, historical, political, and economical and know the news of the resistance so you would be able to raise people’s awareness on the matter and clear all the misconceptions you might have or people around you may have.

4. You have to support Palestine cause and resistance through all means, because Palestine had been captured 43 years ago and you are the only one that will set it free, dear reader.

Allah is our aim and He is the guidance.
